John F. Budd Jr. is a director of NACD’s New York chapter and a member of NACD’s national advisory board. Author of 11 non-fiction books on business issues and just published, Curmudgeonly Speaking. Following five decades in the public affairs/public relations industry, Mr. Budd founded the Omega Group, a private think-tank that offers counseling on governance accountability. John has served on twenty-two nonprofit boards over a time period of 30-plus years. He has served in a diverse range of fields, from health and theater, to immigration and the environment. Mr. Budd is the author of eleven business books, and produces the newsletter “Observations.”
